The Mas is situated 5 kms from Banyuls-sur-mer and the Mediterranean Sea, 30K from Perpignan and Costa Brava is just an hour away. 

Situated in the heart of the Vermillion Coast, amongst coastal terraced vineyards is the delightful seaside town of Banyuls-sur-Mer.

It was home to the famous sculptor Aristide Maillol and offers its visitors and holidaymakers a marvellous range of things to explore. With its seafront esplanade, dotted with palm trees, cafes, restaurants, bars, a marina and the beach it is a place to savour the Mediterranean experience. Market days in Banyuls-sur-mer are Thursdays & Sundays.

Other attractions include the Thalasso Therapy Institute, many wine cellars, and the aquarium of the Arago Laboratory as well as numerous hiking trails along the coast and in the hills.

The picturesque & romantic town of Collioure, also named ‘the City of Painters’, is a neighbouring town only 15 minutes north of Banyuls-sur-mer.

How to get there: 

There are direct flights of 30 minutes from Paris to Perpignan. From most major/regional cities in Europe, there are direct flights to Toulouse, Barcelona or Girona. Girona airport has about 1 ½ hour’s driving distance while Toulouse & Barcelona take approximately 2 ½ hours to drive to Mas Falgara.
